About the Festival

The Shuswap Brewers Fest is a celebration of locally made craft beer, cider, and spirits. This event will bring together community supporting local businesses and highlighting what our region has to offer in the beverage industry. There will be live music, food trucks, entertainment, and beverage vendors.

This event is a fundraiser for the Salmon Arm Rescue Society as they upgrade equipment to match the heightened demand on our highways with first responder calls.

Meet Our Vendors

Shuswap Brewers Fest Competition

Open to all homebrewers who brew their entries on their home equipment. Beers brewed at commercial facilities on commercial equipment or brew-on-premise locations are not allowed. Please no professional brewers.

Prizes Available

  • Brewers Best

Homebrew winner for Brewers Best category will have the opportunity to assist in brewing their winning recipe on commercial equipment on site with Ricochet Brewing! Commercially brewed winning beer will be featured one time only in the Ricochet Brewing Taphouse.

Applicants must register by August 09, 2025.

Submissions

Submissions must be dropped off to Northyards Cider by August 22nd, 2025. Each registrant may submit a maximum of two entries. Each entry a minimum of 500ml and includes beer Name, Style, OG, FG, ABV and contact info. Winner will be announced at Brew Fest.

Please submit an entry for the following categories:

  • Brewers Best – homebrewer’s signature beer

Beer will be judged against a style of beer guideline.
